ID card

Design of ID cards for the photography team at the Koper Youth Centre. The aim was to maintain the centre’s original identity — whose logo is a fish — while adapting it to the role of the staff.

The objective was to maintain the visual consistency of the brand while introducing distinctive elements that would provide functionality and quick recognition.

01

Initial idea

The project originated from an internal demand: the centre’s photography team did not have its own visual identification.

The idea was to design ID cards that would distinguish them as part of the team, especially during crowded activities and events.

02

Logo concept and redesign

Based on this need, it was decided to create a visual identity for the team, taking the centre’s general logo, a fish, as a reference.

I wanted to keep its recognisable shape, but add a reference to the world of photography, so the main concept was to integrate a camera into the fish’s tail.

Final design and application on the cards

Based on the initial sketches, I developed the final logo design and applied it to the ID cards. A colour palette consistent with the centre’s image and a clear composition were defined.
